By accessing or using WP Mail Tester ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by WPMailTester.com ("we", "us", or "our").
2. Description of Service
WP Mail Tester provides email deliverability testing, analysis, and remediation services for WordPress website owners. Our services include:
- Free email deliverability audits (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, spam score, blacklist checks)
- Done-for-you email configuration fix service ($49 one-time fee)
- Monthly email deliverability monitoring subscriptions
- PDF audit reports
3. Free Audit Service & Rate Limits
Our free audit service allows you to send a test email to a unique address we provide. By using this service, you agree that:
- You own or have authorisation to test the email domain being audited
- You will not use the service to test domains you do not own or have permission to test
- Free audits are limited to 5 tests per IP address per 24-hour period
- Audit results are stored for 14 days (anonymous users) or 60 days (registered account holders), then automatically deleted
- Audit results are provided for informational purposes only
4. Paid Services — Service Timelines
For our paid Done-For-You Fix Service, we aim to resolve your email deliverability issues as quickly as possible. Timelines depend on the complexity of the fix and factors outside our control, such as DNS propagation.
Important: To begin work, you must provide valid access to your domain's DNS settings (via your domain registrar, hosting provider, or DNS panel). Work cannot commence until access is granted.

If your DNS provider propagates changes faster (some do within minutes), the overall completion time may be shorter. We will keep you updated via email throughout the process.
Additional considerations for paid services:
- Payment is processed securely through our payment provider
- You must provide accurate billing and contact information
- For monitoring subscriptions: you may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
- All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on the Done-For-You Fix Service. If we are unable to resolve the issues identified in your audit report, you are entitled to a full refund. Please see our full Refund Policy for details. Monthly monitoring subscriptions do not offer refunds for partial months already billed.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to test email domains you do not own or have explicit authorisation to test
- Send spam, malicious emails, or abusive content through our test addresses
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, reverse-engineer, or abuse our systems
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws
We reserve the right to terminate access without refund for serious or repeated violations.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided "as is." While we guarantee the correct configuration of standard email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) as part of our Done-For-You Fix Service, we cannot guarantee that third-party inbox providers (such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook) will place your emails in the inbox. Spam filtering algorithms are determined by each provider and depend on ongoing domain reputation, sending history, content quality, and other factors beyond our control.
Specifically, WPMailTester.com does not guarantee:
- Inbox placement with any specific email provider
- Removal from third-party blacklists (though we will advise on the process)
- That email deliverability improvements will be permanent if sending practices change
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WPMailTester.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of business, revenue, or data.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered account holders of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
